I was out shopping
for a new car in February 2006. I had downloaded some prospects
from various car magazines and Craig’s List. We happened to stop by
Brewers and check out their prices and see what
they had to offer and made a deal. I was at Wal-Mart a few weeks later
and saw a bunch of Mini Coopers in the lot. I headed over to Brewers to
pick up my plates and mentioned the Mini Cooper Club. The folks at
Brewer told me that they sponsored a one year membership in the Mt.
Rainier
Cruisers PT Club and here I am today.
Personal news; I
met my husband, Esteban, in the military overseas in Manheim, Germany while
we were both working at the stockade. We were married July 31, 1982
here at home. After the military, I got a job working as a detention
officer contracted to the Immigration Detention Center, then went to
work for Immigration as a personnel specialist, and then as an investigative
assistant. I currently work as a supervisor at the Passport Office in
downtown Seattle. We have two kids, Lydia, Esteban the 3rd, two
granddaughters, Laneka and Alexandria, and one grandson, Dylan.
I have had fun with
the club over this past year, participating in some of the mini cruises
and
the Brewer events. I have had fun picking out various after-market
pieces to make my car pretty and having some graphics painted at the
Brewer events. I am looking forward to participating in more events this
year...it is a great club! |
