I am a realtor for
Gateway GMAC in Puyallup and was looking for a new car that would be fun
to drive, great looking, and still have room for my clients. Our 2004
Turbo GT fit all of my requirements to a “PT”. The car is Inferno Red
and came with gold badging and script so we continued the gold theme by
having John Hannukaine pinstripe it with gold leaf. We added a billet
aluminum grill that we won in an auction bid at SeaCruise in Ocean
Shores. The license plate “LOV2RUN” is because I love running and have
been a marathon runner (37 total) over the past years. Currently, I am
hampered by a bad ankle, though.
My husband, Jeff,
and I are car nuts, so the PT’s retro styling was a good fit for us. We
live in Lakewood and have a variety of automobiles in our fleet, some
running, some not. Fortunately, we have a detached garage along with our
house garage to keep them covered. We have a Mini CooperS convertible, a
’46 Chevrolet street-rod, and a ’57 Metropolitan hardtop - all driven
quite often. Jeff is currently working on upgrading a ’61 Metropolitan
convertible. Following that completion, we have a ’41 Ford pickup
waiting to be restored. |
