I was born in Quincy Massachusetts. My father was in the Air Force we
traveled every 2 1/2 years up till I was 10 years old and then my father
was sent to Washington State where he retired. We moved to Spanaway in
1975 and have been here ever since. I have two children sons, Michael
and Jonathan, and a wonderful husband, Jeff. I also gained a lovely step
daughter, Lyssa, when Jeff and I met each other. I also have a future
daughter-in-law, Paige, who is just like a daughter to me, we love her.
We have four four legged children (boxer dogs) who keep us very busy.
Jeff and I met at Washington Floral Service where we were delivery
drivers. I got a crazy idea one day to change my career and work for the
airlines, so I enrolled in the International Air Academy in Vancouver
WA. After eight weeks of school I graduated and was hired by Frontier
Airlines, which was another crazy thing because I had to start out in
reservations, which is located in Denver Colorado, so we packed up
everything and moved to Denver and worked there for 18 months and
transferred back to Washington working at SeaTac Airport as a ticket
agent for 10 years. After 10 years working there it became to much
physical labor and I had to make another crazy move and change careers
and I was hired by Virginia Mason Hospital as a Patient Account
Specialist where I am now and very happy there.
After Jeff bought his PT Cruiser, we looked on the internet to find a
PT Cruiser club, because we thought hey, they have Mustang car clubs and
Corvette car clubs, let's check it out. We found the Mt Rainier Cruisers
club and ventured out to one of the meetings. We truly enjoyed the
people and decided we would join.
I had a Ford Mustang that I really loved didn't want to part with it
and it started showing signs of having expensive issues. Jeff said
before this car gets expensive go test drive a PT Cruiser. It took me a
few days to decide but I went to Lithia Dodge and test drove one and
that is the end of that story I fell in love with it.
I love my car and all the wonderful friends I have made. The club is
like a second family to me and I look forward to many more years to
share with all my wonderful friends I have made.
And some of you know me as SPEED RACER!!!! |
